Fan Manufacturer China: OEM Sourcing and Quality Guide
CHINA FAN SOURCING · MODEL, TEST EVIDENCE AND ORDER CONTROL
Choose a fan manufacturer in China by product type, destination, electrical configuration and test evidence. A household pedestal fan, battery fan and industrial blower have different specifications and service requirements. Compare the exact model and manufacturing site before approving a sample or bulk order.
HunterSourcing is a China sourcing agent, not a fan factory or testing laboratory. We coordinate agreed supplier comparisons, samples, inspection and order follow-up. Confirm the scope, deliverables and fees before paid work begins.
Start with the intended fan type, destination and estimated quantity. Add a reference model, electrical supply, target market and required delivery date if known.
Prepared by the HunterSourcing sourcing team. Public supplier information checked 29 October 2026 Beijing time; statements attributed below are suppliers’ own descriptions, not independently verified HunterSourcing audit results.
1. Define the fan and buying application
A fan supplier is only a good match when its product and test capability fit your application. Define whether the order is for retail, hotel use, ventilation equipment or an industrial installation before comparing quotations.
| Type | Buyer specification | Evidence to request |
|---|---|---|
| Household desk / pedestal / wall fan | Diameter, height, airflow settings, oscillation and protective grille. | Exact model sheet; motor, electrical rating, guard construction and sample performance. |
| Battery or rechargeable fan | Battery chemistry/capacity, charger, operating mode and intended destination. | Model-specific battery and transport documentation, actual runtime test conditions and replacement policy. |
| Ceiling fan | Room use, blade diameter, mounting, controls and installation constraints. | Installation instructions, fixture and mounting evidence; documentation for the destination. |
| Industrial or ventilation fan | Duty cycle, installation environment, static pressure, airflow, noise and service access. | Performance curve, measurement conditions, motor specification and application-specific assessment. |

2. Compare suppliers using the same brief
A factory website is a starting point, not proof that its specific model, production site or documents meet your order. Verify the legal seller and the actual China manufacturing location, then request an identified model, MOQ, timing and price under the same conditions.
| Public source | What the page describes | What the buyer must verify |
|---|---|---|
| SF Fan box fan page | Box fans in 10, 12, 14, 16 and 20 inch sizes; it states a standard 1,000-piece MOQ per model. | Applicable model and variant, sample, current quotation, production site, test documentation and any mixed-model arrangement. |
| Baozhen electric fan page | Lists household fan types and describes OEM/ODM manufacturing. | Actual manufacturing entity, MOQ per model and artwork, components and destination-specific proof. |
| JIEBO fan page | Shows solar, rechargeable, pedestal and other fan product routes and OEM/ODM options. | Specific model, battery configuration where applicable, model-level documents and logistics conditions. |
Sources checked 29 October 2026. These are the companies’ public statements, not proof of an existing HunterSourcing relationship or a recommendation that any factory has been audited. MOQ, lead time and price depend on model and order terms; request updated written offers.
MOQ is not the same as container loading
MOQ is a commercial requirement; container loading is a packing calculation. Ask for sample quantity, trial MOQ, production MOQ per model and colour, and actual packed units per container separately.
3. Give every factory the same version of the RFQ
Keep a dated specification and revision number. Differences in motor, controls or packaging can make a lower headline price misleading.
| Requirement | Specify in the request | Evidence to compare |
|---|---|---|
| Product / application | Type, intended use, installation and target quantity. | Model number, drawing and approved sample. |
| Electrical / motor | Destination voltage and frequency, plug, motor type, rated power, controls and cable. | Nameplate, bill of materials and model-matched test scope. |
| Airflow / sound | Required airflow and noise with operating speed and test conditions. | Test method, distance, environment, speed and report; do not compare unmatched claims. |
| Safety / materials | Grille, stability, housing and intended users or environment. | Approved design, relevant test records and inspection plan. |
| Branding / packing | Logo, colour, manual language, carton and barcode artwork. | Approved reference sample, packing dimensions and agreed artwork version. |
| After-sales | Spare parts, warranty, claim process and responsibilities. | Written covered components, parts list, lead time and responsibility for labour and freight. |
4. Build a traceable inspection and acceptance chain
Evidence should identify the same factory, model, variant and lot from quotation to final acceptance. A sample, a supplier’s certificate logo and a short on-site functional check answer different questions.
- Verify: legal seller, actual factory, relevant production capability and model documents.
- Approve: identify the sample, electrical rating, motor, grille, colour, controls, packing and artwork revision.
- Control changes: record and review changes to motor, cord, switch, battery, tooling or factory before production.
- Inspect: agree lot size, sampling plan, defects, operating checks, packing and limits before the visit.
- Close: document defects, supplier correction, reinspection and the buyer’s written acceptance or decision to abandon the goods.
If a small number fail and conforming units can be identified and separated, release the accepted quantity only with the buyer’s written authorisation. Hold the remainder for agreed correction and reinspection. If most of the lot fails, hold shipment, report the findings and obtain a correction plan and buyer instruction. Agree inspection and reinspection scope and costs in advance.
See the reporting format
Our quality inspection service describes inspection coordination. The inspection report template and factory audit template are blank examples, not evidence of a completed fan inspection or factory approval. Request an authorised redacted example if available.
Check claims against the destination and model
Ask the importer and a competent testing body which electrical safety, electromagnetic compatibility, energy, battery and labelling requirements apply to the exact product and destination. A CE mark is a manufacturer’s declaration of conformity to applicable EU rules, not a universal certificate; certificates or test reports must match the model and scope. See the European Commission’s CE marking guidance. Do not assume an audit or one badge covers every fan variant.
5. Compare total order cost and after-sales exposure
Request dated quotations in the same currency, with quantity, unit price, Incoterm and named location, tooling, samples, testing, artwork, packaging, freight, duties and payment milestones separated. The source pages do not establish a universal fan FOB price or lead time; confirm both in the written offer for your model.
Before payment, verify the contracting entity and beneficiary independently. Agree whether defects, rework, spare parts, local repair labour and shipping are included. Ask for model-specific spare-part identifiers and a claim process rather than assuming that a generic warranty covers every cost.
6. Plan the right buying scenario
Private-label retail launch
Match the destination supply and retail labelling, confirm approved colour and packaging, then compare one model across suppliers. Confirm who owns any tooling and how replacement components will be supplied.
Commercial building or hotel
Agree the installation and use conditions, noise measurement method, electrical supply and service route. A quiet-room catalogue claim is not a guarantee of installed performance.
Industrial ventilation replacement
Share the actual duty, installation dimensions, airflow and pressure requirements with a qualified engineer. Request a matching performance curve and model documents; a household fan specification is not an industrial engineering assessment.
Fan manufacturer China: buyer FAQs
How can I verify that a fan supplier is a real manufacturer?
Check the contracting company and actual production address, then ask which processes the site performs and which parts are outsourced. Review an authorised factory audit, production records and a model-specific sample; a video call or business licence alone does not establish every capability.
How do I compare airflow and noise when buying fans in bulk?
Request airflow and sound data for the exact model at each intended speed, with measurement units, test method, distance and operating conditions. Compare equivalent configurations and assess an approved sample in the intended installation; a low-noise claim without test conditions is difficult to compare.
Are BLDC fans always quieter and more efficient than AC fans?
No motor label guarantees the outcome for every model. Noise, airflow and power depend on the motor, blades, controls and operating conditions. Compare measured results for the same duty and speed, and confirm the destination voltage and service requirements.
How can I ensure bulk fans match the approved sample?
Record the sample ID, motor and control configuration, blade and grille specifications, electrical rating, artwork and packing revision. Require written approval for changes, agree batch checks and compare production against the controlled sample before release.
Can a supplier change a fan to another country’s voltage by replacing the plug?
Changing a plug does not necessarily change the motor, controls or electrical rating. Confirm the complete model variant, voltage, frequency, cord and nameplate, then verify the matching test documents for the destination.
What checks help reduce fan noise and vibration complaints?
Agree how the factory will check assembly, blade balance, running noise and vibration against the approved configuration. Record the test conditions and results, and check installation instructions for the intended mounting; a short pre-shipment check does not prove long-term reliability.
Which documents should I request for a fan sold in my market?
Identify the destination, product type and exact variant first. Ask the responsible supplier or a competent testing body which safety, electromagnetic compatibility, energy, labelling and battery requirements apply, and verify that the documents match the model and scope.
What MOQ should I expect for a private-label fan?
The minimum depends on the model, motor, voltage, finish, branding, packaging and tooling. Ask separately for a sample, trial lot and repeat-order MOQ, and request a written quote for your specific combination; container capacity alone is not the MOQ.
What warranty and spare-parts terms should I agree before ordering?
Identify covered components, warranty start and duration, replacement-part numbers, claim evidence, response process and who pays for parts, local labour and shipping. Confirm availability and terms for your model in writing rather than assuming all costs are covered.
What happens if a fan shipment fails inspection?
Document the findings and identify affected goods. A separable accepted portion ships only on the buyer’s written instruction; hold the rest for agreed correction and reinspection. If most units fail, hold shipment and seek the buyer’s decision and a documented corrective plan.
